Situated l5km north of Port Douglas, Marae is an architecturally striking tropical timber home surrounded by natural bush.

It has 300 degree views, taking in rural valleys and the spectacular mountains surrounding Mossman Gorge. Native animals browse in the garden and it is a bird watcher’s paradise.

The living area is airy and spacious, with large wooden shutters opening to the gentle breezes of the valley. Your breakfast can be taken in the welcoming dining area, or on a sunny balcony.

You can sleep in a private cabana-style King Room, close to the pool - popular with romantics. Or there is a King Room within the house. Both have stylish bathrooms.

The rooms have a tropical elegance, with large windows and views over the valley and garden.

Rates

King-sized suites are priced from AUD$195 per room per night. Single occupancy is priced from AUD$145 per night. Both rates include a delicious tropical breakfast.
